Alto Solimões Indian Experience!
The goal of our “Alto Solimões” Indian Experience Package is to provide our customers with a unique experience with the culture of the native Indians of the Tikuna tribe, located in the municipality of Santo Antônio do Iça in the State of Amazonas. The tour is available year-round. The trip from Manaus is made by speedboat with departures from Manaus always on the first Thursday of each month. Santo Antonio is located 36 hours by speed boat from Manaus.
During the stay in the village, visitors will be able to participate in the daily activities of the natives, such as Hunting, Fishing, and eating typical food and drinks.
Next December, the “Indigenous Leadership Event” will take place once again, where tribal leaders from Peru, Colombia, and Brazil will meet. Visitors will be able to witness traditional cultural presentations of the region's natives. In addition, the guest will take a tour of the history of the indigenous Amazon populations. Participants will visit the Tchirugüne Maloca of the Magüta people, will watch the "Ritual da Moça Nova" ("Young Lady Ritual"), will see handicrafts, body painting, and observe the region's exuberant fauna and flora.

We will sleep in the Indian Village, in community Hammocks, each participant receives a hammock and a towel. There is an exclusive bathroom and shower for our small group. Living with the Indians means that we will sleep in malocas with a natural floor (clay) and eat the food that the native Indians eat in their daily lives.
We recommend you carry only a backpack or light bag with the most necessary items: Long pants, long shirt, light clothing, bathing suit, sturdy shoes or boots, slippers, repellent, sunscreen, hat, flashlight, and raincoat.
Remembering that this is an “Indian Village”, therefore the place does not have wi-fi or other technologies. However, for you to record this unique moment, if possible, bring an external battery to charge your cell phone, as there will be few opportunities to charge the device from an outlet. We do NOT suggest traveling with a suitcase, if possible, leave it deposited at the hotel in Manaus.
